That sucks. I hope he gets it worked out. I have a friend who lost his guns in a divorce. It can be nasty. Id go through hell and back to get my HK AR-15 back though. Those cost serious coin.

You have to refer back the dvorce settlement.
The guns are considered the same as the furniture and the dishes, they are personal property part of the marital assets. Most divorce settlements are vague on personal property,the courts dont want to get in the middle of who gets the he sofa. Since they are in her possession, you probably are out of luck.
Did he get back any of the furniture, or other items in the house? If not, and IF the settement said something like "personal property will be divided equally," then you can go back to court and ask the court to hold her in contempt, and the IF that happens, and IF the judge calls out the guns specifically then you CAN go have a sheriff colllect them for you.

Easy! Give it away! You will spend more than its worth trying to get them back. Just my experience, screw material things. Fight for your kids, retirement, pensions etc. That's all that matters years down the road anyways.
Report them stolen!
This is what earlier in this thread was explained as a FELONY. Some of us enjoy having all our rights.
