If I want a donut, I'd rather have one from Dunkin.
Many years ago (when they taught drivers Ed in high school) we would drive the instructor/typing teacher to the local KK. We all passed with flying colors. 
I've had those and enjoyed. But the Krispy Kreme are the best to me. And then just the plain jane original
Have you considered turning off the tv???? If you consider KK, Mcd's and such delicious treats, that is sad.
The best are the homemade treats and stuff my mom used to bake. She be gone now ….but the wife does a damned great job too !! I will always take the homemade over store bought. That is a given, of course.
