"Just saying"

WOW. One of my well used lines.

"Is the height of passive-aggression. Just saying."

Is that Just your opinion, or do you have links and written history to back it up?

What about "it is what it is"

That one is not as bad....the whole premise behind tagging a previous statement with "just saying" is that the person speaking is trying to connote that they do not have a vested interest in the statement they just made. They want you to believe that this is simply their two cents and that they don't have a muslim LEO pit bull in the fight, so to speak.....but they do, and you know they do - otherwise they wouldn't have spoken up to begin with.

It drives me nuts....kind of like people who use verbs as nouns and nouns as verbs.

This guy sums it up pretty well: http://gawker.com/5259560/phrases-to-be-banned-just-sayin
