My wife and I are in Michigan for my nephews wedding. He was born in Georgia and moved to Denver a couple of years ago with a sweet job offer. He’s a snow boarder, skier and mountain biker that loves adventure. He met his fiancé in Denver and she is the same as him except she was born in Gaylord Michigan. They are getting married here due to her grandparents not being able to travel.

I love looking up the local guns stores and going this gem. Born out of a garage in 1971, Jays sporting goods has been a staple in the community for 52 years. Great store, staff and selection of fishing, hunting, camping and outdoor gear.

Oddly enough I'm pretty sure I've been to that store back in the early 2000s. I was in Gaylord doing an irrigation install at the Loon Country Club/Golf Course. At least I think that was the name of the place.

Some where close to there, I remember a store that sold work wear for really good prices. I got some Carharrt artic bibs and coat still have them.
