Good luck. It's hard for landowners to take on the liability. Sounds like your best bet is a gun club or indoor range.

I have access to private land but it's a drive from here. Excellent for deer and turkey. I have known the family all of my natural born life. I grew up with the four sons. It's a priceless resource and unfortunately you have to have known someone for a long time to gain that privilege. Most " not saying you " will absolutely abuse the privilege. Nobody takes as good of care of your stuff like you will. There are those who don't even respect or care for their stuff either. It's a hard boundary to break. Good luck and I mean that in the most sincere way. Hopefully there is a good hearted member that will give you a chance. Just remember if they do, don't go out and target shoot during deer season. Not a good idea.

Griffin Gun Club (in Griffin) is even closer, I would think. They will also exchange money for permission to shoot on their property.
