36 years for me. I had the kids got them both married off, saw her through her retirement as a teacher, paid off our house then left for my own sanity. I'm at peace now. Did my duty and staid in that situation until everyone was taken care of. Now it's my turn.

In the blink of an eye it seems. I'm sure if you're in the wrong kind of marriage it could seem like an eternity.
Judging from what I've seen so far most of us got lucky...I know I did.
