I've watched my Dad widowed 3 times. The first 2 were good marriages. The last one, no so much. At my age, it would take someone very special. I won't say no, but I wouldn't be looking for it either.

Not 30 but 19 going on 20. Had its ups and downs. But glad we’ve stuck it through. Wouldn’t do it again though, If anything ever happens.

Went to Dairy Queen and got 2 soft serve ice cream cones like we have for our previous 35 anniversaries.

40 years this April. Wife has an extended family close by here in GA. I still love her. But I need the little blue pill!

38 years in September! I would've left me sooner, but she didn't. :-) Just being kind to one another, putting up with some minor disagreements and inconveniences, and really caring about one's spouse's feelings, ideas, etc., makes it work. It's not 50/50, it's 150% / 50%, and it changes back and forth. If you can deal with that you're good forever. :-)
