- 1968 Chevy Suburban C10 Custom
- Originally built with Miller Meteor Sentinel Package
- Was a rescue truck near Rome, GA originally.
- Body was sand blasted and painted.
- Not a show quality job, but a nice driver that shows pretty well.
- Original 307 v8 and power glide were removed and replaced.
- Has a 6.0L LQ4 LS from a 2005 2500 with 4l80E.
- The 6.0L was torn down and thoroughly checked.
- Heads removed and sent off to get cleaned, rebuilt, and machined.
- All bearings were checked and replaced as needed.
- Texas Speed stage 2 truck cam with low lift full kit installed.
- All new timing, water pump, oil pick up, performance oil pump, and complete seal kit replaced.
- Went with a Ultimate FItech fuel system that supports up to 750hp.
- Also has Fitech wire harness and computer.
- All new suspension from CPP and tubular control arms.
- 4 wheel power disc brakes installed from Classic auto
- Underbody fully cleaned treated and undercoated.
- New wheels and tires.
- Interior was gutted, new carpet, custom wood headliner in the back, reupholstered seats.
- Front seat is original rear seats are out of a 1970 K5 blazer.
- Chassis Harness and all wires replaced with a Painless Harness set up.
- Truck starts runs and drives great. Lots of fun, and a ton of attention. At times to much attention. Not many classics can cruise the whole family or work as a baseball truck in the fall, but this suburban does it in style.
