Up for your consideration is a 2006 BMW M3 Convertible. Six speed transmission with a short throw shifter. Garage stored.

Black exterior, caramel interior, black top. The last year of the straight six. Sport (aka ludicrous) button. M wheels, M steering wheel, M shifter knob, billet pedal covers, M mats

I bought it with 106k, now has 118k. Paint is good, does have some scratches and rock chips on front fascia and hood. Not a show car.

$20,000. May take a PSA Jakl in 556 or 300 as partial trade fodder.

Things upgraded/replaced just prior to my purchase, now have 12k on them-

Clutch
Brakes
Water pump
Short Throw shifter
New top
European mirrors
New tires
Steering wheel

Runs like a top, 4500 miles till next oil change. No lights or codes.

Selling because I have driven it 4 times since March.

The E46 M3's are holding their value very well. I don't recall what we sold out for a few years ago (wife had one with low miles) but it was in that range.. particularly with the 6 speed manual.

Seems like $20k is high based on the BAT data your mileage. Nice car, but all the cars listed on BAT have lower mileage. Not sure why the coupes get more money, I would have expected the convertables to bring more... that being said, these in manual are going to be very collectable at some point and yours is in good shape.

The coupes are a better chassis, it's usually more enthusiast oriented people buying these, the convertible has added weight over the coupe
