Im not in a hurry to get rid of my ranger, but recently I've decided I'd like to know what I could get trade wise. I've got a 1994 Ranger 2wd 2.3 with a 5 speed single cab. Recently within the past 300 miles I've changed all 8 plugs, all 8 plug wires, MAF sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, both front calipers, break pads, wheel bearings, both rotors, swapped seats from an 08 ranger and swapped the original 14" for later model 15" wheels. It does need a few things, I'll start off with things I'm planning on doing within the end of the year. Headliner needs replacing and the radio/speakers don't work and it i need to put the rear view mirror back up. The other things I had planned for summer time are the AC needs attention, the paint is showing its age, and i want to replace the dash. The dash isn't terrible, just 2 cracks. Full disclosure, this truck was picked up as a project for a killer deal about 5 months ago and she runs like a sewing machine now with no lights no the dash. I would hesitate to drive her anywhere. Currently has 197k on the clock. Clean GA title in hand.

As far as trades go, I'm looking for other vehicles of interest such as a "projects" or "someone else's headache that they have reached the end if their rope with", anything that's 2wd and manual, especially station wagons of just about any make or model, single cab trucks, hatchbacks, and some coupes. Might consider trading for bike preferably a shadow or sportester(this would be my first bike), might consider firearms trades but it would have to be something I couldn't live without.

Value wise I'd say she sits around $2.5-$3k in today's market of madness. If you feel I'm off on that, I'm perfectly willing to here out offers. Worst I'll say is no thank you. Mostly interested in trades unless life throws me a curveball at some point in the future. Willing to meet around me to let you give it a once over before we get serious.

Its definitely starting to grow on me, but I'd figure I'd throw it up so see if anyone had something I just couldn't live without. If I end up keeping it I'm going to put in a 2.3T and a 4.10 geared rear end, make a fun little truck.

The 2.3 engine came from the Pinto way back in the 70s and then went into the SVO Mustang in the early 80s with a turbo. Then it went into the TBird Turbo Coupe. Point is there's plenty of bolt on speed parts for the 2.3L. AND the Ranger wheel bolt pattern from back then is 5X 4.5" which is a very common pattern. Five lug Mustang wheels from 94 and up will bolt right on and look slick.
