May 5, 2021 - Gun was just returned to me from Ruger. Ruger replaced the frame and internal frame parts. Gun was giving me a "lite strike" about one time out of every two or three mags and made it very difficult to shoot it in a steel challenge match. So, I sent it back to Ruger and that is why they replaced the frame and the internal parts. Gun shoots perfect now and runs like new.
In the mean time, I purchased a Mark IV while this gun was getting serviced at Ruger and the reason why I am selling.

Priced lowered to $395 because I removed the silver charging ring and put on another pistol.

May also work a trade deal for a Judge 410 revolver of some type.

Hello, Sorry to bother you as I am not a prospect for your pistol. I have one of these 22/45 MK IIIs. Mine is 11 years old. And I just bought it in the past few weeks. The seller had never shot it and thus had never cleaned it. It appeared that it had NEVER been cleaned. As a result, I believe, it was terrible to take down. I have three other MK IIIs regularly shot and cleaned with no issues. Also difficult to replace the pin. Also, unlike the other MK IIIs. I am not sure but my guess is that the current issues may be due to lack of proper maintenance. Mine is now back at RUGER for repairs. How is your MK III when it comes to maintenance? Any info you can pass along would be greatly appreciated. And, good luck with your sale. Thank you, Tom Marshall in Buford.

first time I took down mine it disassembled fine but assembly not well-took it to a local gun shop he groaned when I walked in- he couldn;t reassemble so we called Ruger- their step by steps instructions were take the rubber hammer....
