Man, I wish I knew how rare these were back in the 80's. I would've gone into every Otasco in North Ga and cleaned them out! GLWS!

Just asking because I don't know...but what is "rare" about this rifle? It's a Glenfield, so naturally it's going to have the squirrel on it.

The squirrel identifies as a cross dressing possum. That’s what makes this one rare.

Just joking. Great rifle. I own a few of them and all are great shooters. This one looks to be in better condition than most.

That was the go to for the po boys in the early 70s shot many thousand rounds with one. Think they were about 29 bucks and you could get a brick of wildcats or thunderbolts for $4

That is Beautiful!! What year is it? If it doesn't have a letter before the serial number use the first and second number and subtract by a 100 for the year.
Although I don't have a Squirrel Edition I do still have and love my 1974 Glenfield model 60 with the Glenfield 4 x 15 opti-centered coated scope. Killed many of squirrels with that rifle.
