New 2023, the Desert Tech MDRX, takes the company’s revolutionary bullpup rifle design to the next level. MDRX rifles now feature an upgraded polymer resin formula for enhanced durability against high impact falls. Additionally, gas block drainage on the MDRX has been improved to dramatically increase reliability after submersion in mud and water. The trigger of the MDRX has been improved, providing a lighter pull with less creep. All MDRX rifles now feature the new Ratchet Compensator, which provides excellent control and recoil reduction without subjecting the shooter to gas blowback.Built on a gas piston system and featuring a compact bullpup design, the MDRX flawlessly combines functionality, modularity, and ergonomics. The MDRX continues to utilize the MDR’s patented forward ejection system that makes the rifle ambidextrous without reconfiguration, as well as sending spent brass toward the target and not the guy next to you. The rifle features a full length Picatinny rail that extends to the end of the handguard as well as industry standard M-Lok attachment points.

The Desert Tech MDRX Conversion Kit comes with everything you need to switch your MDR or MDRX rifle from one caliber to another. This MDRX Conversion kit comes with Desert Tech’s proprietary Raiden Flash Hider installed! The Raiden Flash Hider has been designed specifically for 5.56/.223 to maximize performance for your MDRX and any other brand rifle. The Raiden allows for faster target acquisition on follow up shots and improved accuracy because it eliminates barrel rise using caliber specific porting. Our unique interlaced 3 prong design minimizes concussion while hiding flash signature. MDRX Conversion Kits are available in multiple calibers, barrel lengths and in forward or side eject configurations. MDRX Conversion Kits give you the ability to have multiple rifles/calibers out of one platform, allowing changing from one caliber to the another without having to re-familiarize yourself with a completely different cheek weld, grip, trigger, controls, optic or balance.
