The Meridian Defense Pestilence was a limited addition through Meridian Defense that was part of their special projects division. They have been sold out now for almost a year and and based on past experience with them, they don’t intend to make any more. If you were lucky enough to initially ordered one, the wait was astronomical. It took well over a year to get mine. It felt two years. I’m sure the price will only go up on this one. From the time I ordered it initially, my wants have just changed. Being such a cool AK, it needs to be with someone who can really appreciate it for what it is. It has the Dead Air brake pin and welded. Suppressor ready. The 69’ on the stock represents the Romanian parts kit it’s made out of.
