For sale - Lyman .50 Great Plains rifle. I believe this was a rifle made in the 1980’s. Good condition with some surface wear on the barrel. Bore appears to be very smooth. I put a nylon shim under the hammer to eliminate a little sloppiness. $400 Can meet between Loganville and Gainesville

I don't have a small light to drop down the barrel to see the whole thing, but here is a pic at the muzzle and a cleaning patch with oil that I ran down the bore - feels absolutely smooth.

If you would like to take a look at it I will be up in Gainesville this afternoon at Cherokee Gun Club. You are welcome to examine the rifle before making any decision about buying it. I like buyers to be perfectly happy when buying anything from me. PM me if you want to look at it.
