Item Description: This is a Winchester 94ae 44mag trapper with saddle ring. It is a pre safety model and its in excellent condition. No blueing loss, wood stocks are in great shape, and bore is bright. It has a 16 inch barrel. It will come with the original box and manual.

My only trade interests are a Henry Long Ranger 308 with nice scope, and sling or a Henry 30-30 all weather. All trades must be in like new condition and might require cash added to it depending on what you have.

The short barrel 94s are known as Trapper models because they were popular with fur trappers and such back in the day. They fit in a horse scabbard easily, hence the "saddle ring" which was used to tether the rifle to keep it from getting lost. They have 16" barrels compared to the Carbine 20" or longer barrels.
