Thanks. I usually test the lockup of break action guns by putting a dollar bill between the receiver and barrel, close the action, then see if a light pull would pull the dollar out. If the dollar can slip out without ripping then the action isn't tight enough for me to bother buying, but if the dollar bill wont come out without ripping then I assume the action is in at least decent shape. This one passes that test with flying colors.That's a lot of bumps..However, a really good sign is that the top lever is seen to be to the right of center, a sign that the locking lugs are not worn, still tight and the action is on-face.
