I have for sale an old browning 12ga auto loader. I believe it is from around 1964. Comes with a second full choke barrel,
$800 obo. May consider partial trades. No black powder, other shotguns, or 40cal.

I don’t know a lot about shotguns and from what I’ve researched this one fetches a higher price.

Ok from the research I’ve done on dating the gun, probably Japanese. But not %100

FN produced the Browning Auto 5 in Belgium until 1975 when the production was moved to Miroku in Japan until 1999.

In 2012, Browning reintroduced the A5 with a totally different design and it is produced in Portgal.

I checked that out yesterday and the problem is I can only find 1 5 digit serial number. PM inbound

It has the safety at the rear of the trigger guard so it was made after 1951 and the round knob stock means before 1967.
The Browning A5s were produced in Belgium during this time period. While this is not an exact date, it should give the potential buyer a general idea of the age.
