These are rounds presorted from brass bought from ranges before the brass goes to the sorting machines. Popped primers or loose projectiles.
9mm cans hold 600 rds. .223 cans have 385.
Right now I have about 10 cans of .223 and the one can of 9mm until I sort some more.

I suspect any factory loaded ammo is just fine. The problem is every ole yahoo is allowed to load his/her own ammo and many don't really understand what they're doing. I'd bet most ammo with problems is handloaded.
 
I can't say if any of this is handloads. I can tell you that the rounds I sorted that looked like they were probably just dropped on the floor by accident, have worked fine out of my weapons. I use it for range/plinking ammo and I have had almost 100% shoot just fine.
The ones I have listed would be great for someone who wants to pull them apart and reuse the brass/projectiles.
