For Sale or Trade: 2001 Dodge Ram 2500HD SLT Quad Cab Sport

This is probably one of the finest examples of a Gen2 Dodge on the road today. I love this truck!

This is my hobby truck and has been very well maintained. I am a stickler about maintenance. I like old trucks, but want them to be as dependable as new ones. This truck has never left me stranded because I take such good care of it. Just about everything on this truck that looks like it might fail has been replaced. I would not hesitate to tow a trailer anywhere in the USA at any time. I have worked from home for the last 3 years so I put less than 4k miles per year on the truck.

5.9L Cummins 24v Turbo Diesel Engine
• 221k miles (same engine as my my Dad’s 2001 Ram 3500...its got over 500K!). Super strong running!
• Edge EZ Performance Module (+65HP)
• 5” Exhaust (from the turbo back) w/ 6” MBRP chrome tip
• Replaced alternator (Dec 2018)
• Replaced water pump, tensioner and belt (2019)
• Replaced vacuum pump (June 2020)
• Replaced all ground cables
• Replaced valve cover and timing cover gasket (Sept 2020)
• Replaced TPS/APPS (Sept 2020)
• Replaced hood insulation (May 2021)

• Cold AC. Major AC work done by previous owner
• Lift pump replaced by previous owner
• Standard maintenance– Air Intake Filter, Engine Oil & Filter, Fuel Filter, Trans Fluid & Filter, Rear End Gear Oil; all changed per specification.
No oil leaks (or fluids of any kind) from this truck!

4 Speed Automatic Transmission
• Professionally rebuilt at 172K
• HD torque converter

Interior
• Agate cloth seats, great condition
• Perfect dash, no cracks. Wood grain instrument cluster bezel.
• Very clean carpets

• Front brakes professionally rebuilt. New rotors and upgraded to ceramic pads (2020)
• Rear drum brakes professionally rebuilt. New drums (2019)
• No major chassis rust! Always a Southern truck!

All Known Problems
• Needs new heater core…it recently crapped out on me
• Overhead console lights don’t work and sunglasses holder is missing the lid.
• Drivers side power seat rear up/down adjustment doesn't work, but is comfortable to sit on.

That’s it. Everything else on the truck works as it should.

or...the right truck that is in great shape but has high miles is ok, with cash coming my way.

2) 2005+ Ford Mustang (5.0 preferred, but I'm open to the Cyclone) in excellent condition.

I was wondering if you was interested in a 1973 CJ5 jeep, got redone in 2014.It has a stock 304 V8,with a granny low 4 speed trans, two Detroit air lockers, sitting on 31's.
