FOR SALE: German MG 34 display machine gun with all "live" parts on an aluminum display receiver (non-firing), includes original WWII ammo drum and one empty 50-round belt, leather carry sling, and two types of bipods! All the parts are in excellent condition, with nothing ever being cut or re-welded; barrel still has rifling. This MG 34 is currently set up as a DISPLAY gun. It does not fire anything, so doesn't need any paperwork. It COULD be made to fire semi-auto or full auto depending on what functioning receiver you obtain, if that is your goal. Otherwise, it makes a very impressive centerpiece for your gun room, man cave, office, or museum!

I have 30 pictures, but the system allows only 12. Let me know if you'd like to see any particular details, and I could add it to replies.

Features include fully adjustable/folding sights, functioning top cover, functioning trigger (including the single-shot), functioning ejection port cover (pops open when trigger is pulled), safe/fire switch, cocking handle/slide moves back and forth in channel (clips onto forward lug as it should), and barrel can be changed like normal. All parts can be field-stripped/disassembled--nothing has been welded or altered.

I purchased this over twelve years ago in the exact condition it is in today; the bipod it came with was post-war (Czeck or Yugoslav?), so I purchased the correct bipod, but both are included here (see disassembled photos for the post war bipod). The ammo drum looks to be WWII authentic with arsenal tan paint overpainted with panzer grey (or blue-black). The only marking on the ammo drum is "ddf", a WWII German manufacturing code for Lohmann-Werke AG of Bielefeld. The drum functions perfectly and locks onto the feed ramp securely.

There are Waffenamt stamps on the trigger/pistol grip frame, on the cocking handle slide, under the top cover, and on the rear sight. There are two Waffenamt stamps on the barrel along with "Do" manufacturing code. Additional markings on the cocking handle slide are "Za. Jt" and what looks like an "X" out by itself--not a strike-through. Trigger is numbered "29" as is the grip frame. There are no Israeli markings, nor do I see any strike-throughs. The wood of the shoulder stock is stamped "9888" (or "8886"), and the latch ring (stays on the stock when removed from the buffer tube) has "9904". "9904" is also on the buffer tube, top cover, and barrel sleeve/rear sight mount. Nice bit of matching parts. The aluminum receiver has "8045Sb". The barrel is "9818b".

Price is $3,495.00 OBO. I prefer a face-to-face meeting with cash, but can arrange shipping and alternate payment method if needed. Please PM me with questions. 8mm ammo seen in photos is NOT included. For sale--no trades or partial trades please.
