I have a 6 year old house broken crate trained, never has an accident in the house male chocolate lab, he’s literally the sweetest dog ever. However he has randomly spaced seizures and I’m afraid of him hurting himself by falling down my stairs or off my couch when no one is home. The medicine doesn’t help his seizures and is actually worse on his body the vet says. He is of course free to a good home that can provide someone to be around a lot more than me, I’m gone for 10-15 hours a day.

That's sad, looks like a great dog, I had a Black and a Yellow lab, they were my duck dogs, they were awesome.

He's a beautiful dog. I'd take him but my little Yorkie is jealous and aggressive towards other dogs, especially big dogs

Beautiful lab! What type of anti-seizure meds is he on? We’ve got a 5 yo Boykin on anti-seizure meds and I’m concerned about the long term side effects.

phenobarbital, and it did not stop it.

The thing is 80% of the time he’s perfect no issues, and once every couple of months he will go through spells. My vet actually suggested putting him down which I thought was insane.
