As a Cubmaster and Scoutmaster, I wouldn't recommend MREs for Cubs, Scouts yes but it's a complicated, calorie packed meal for a Cub. I would go with prepackaged canned or plastic foil foods you know they will eat. Granted the parent will be there to help them with the MRE, but I just haven't had much of a successful experience with Cubs and MREs.

Don't subject those kids to that stuff. Maybe the pound cakes, but, the rest will have them bloated and constipated for days. Ask me how I know
