Item Description: Vintage Axes - most restored with new hickory hafts from House Handle Company. These axes are vintage so they carry the great quality steel you don't see in axes today. Although they don't carry a razor edge, each had/can have a razor edge and due to the quality of the steel will hold. These are great and collectible axes - I hate to get rid of them but I need the room in my shop. Plus I don't have trees to cut!
Craftsman 3/4 axe (boy's axe, or pulp axe): 2 1/4 pound axe head on original handle. Handle is loose, but may be able to be tightened. - $50
True Temper Kelly Works Flint Edge 3/4 axe: 2 1/4 pound axe head on new hickory handle rubbed with blend of linseed oil and beeswax. - $75
Collins 3/4 axe: 2 1/4 pound axe head on new hickory handle rubbed with linseed oil. - $65
Collins Legitimus heavy axe: 5-lb axe head stamped "Collins Legitimus" (highly sought after) on a new hickory handle - hexagon shaped so it fits your hand well! Rubbed with linseed oil. - $80
Collins Pulaski axe: Pulaski axe head on a new hickory handle - hexagon shaped. - $60
