Item Description: Underwood Elliot Fisher (typewriter company) M1 Carbine Excellent condition
Winchester Barrel so original Underwood barrel may have been damaged or shot out and needed to be replaced.
Chambered in 30 Carbine.
Manufactured 1943-1944.
Very discreet ARL ORD Arlington, VA Import Mark on bottom of barrel, so it served overseas!
Underwood produced 9.8% of all WWII carbines.
This one has a fairly rare subcontractor W marking for Universal Winding Company receiver, one of only 37,000 https://www.johnsonautomatics.com/plant.htm
Comes with 2 M1 Magazines, and 1 M2 Magazine.
VERY CLEAN SHINY BORE. Muzzle Erosion low at 1.5!
Shoots very tight groups and runs like a scalded cat.
