Item Description: Very nice Ruger Alaskan in .44 special/magnum. Comes with a Galco leather holster. I’ll throw in some ammo too. 2-3lb single action pull, great trigger and surprisingly accurate and pleasant to shoot.

To answer some questions, yes I have the box and docs and those are factory Ruger grips. It didn’t have hogue grips on it when I got it but Alaskans did have Hogues from the factory the past few years. This is a June 2012 mfg date gun. I’ve had several Ruger Alaskans and Super RedHawks over the years and all but one had these rosewood inlaid grips. I find them preferable to the Hogue Tamer grips which can be found anywhere for $25
