Item Description: Pretty Rare old Remington 7600 Carbine takedown in 30-06. The rifle is in good condition overall with a couple minor scratches in the wood from hunting. Previous owner put some notches in the stock counting something I suppose. I have not seen a takedown like it. $850 obo. Not interested in trades really. Concealed permit or license.

Is this a 7600 carbine with the buttstock removed? I have never seen a factory takedown rifle…How this different from a standard 7600 carbine? Looks awesome either way!

And I make #4....I've owned many 7400, 7600 type rifles over the years and have handled literally hundreds over the years and never seen a "take down". How does it come apart?

It has a key that fits in the stock with a metal cap over the buttplate. Barrel is 18.5 I believe.
