Why not? I've been expected to do just that AND drop my asking price by $100.00 from an already reasonable price.

I’ve found that 99% of the time the people who want you to bring it to them or ask “are you ever around x location” are not serious. They are tire kickers wanting to waste some time. Had a guy last night like that, I called his bluff, said I’d be over that way today and sure enough he backed out. It’s just like the people that want you to hold stuff for them, if you do, something always comes up last minute or you tell them that you won’t hold it but if it’s still available on that date they are welcome to it, surprisingly they vanish. Paying $5 is cheap entertainment now. It’s like hunting over bait for the former Facebook marketplace people we have here.
