Item Name: FS/FT Uberti 5" Schofield Revolver
Location: Athens
Zip Code: 30607
Item is for: Sale or Trade
Sale Price: $800
Trade Value or Items Looking For: New or very lightly used (depending on model) Remington 700, preferably .300WM (or other, don't hold back)
Caliber: .45 Long Colt, .45LC
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Very lightly used and well maintained Uberti Schofield reproduction. This is the 5" "Wells Fargo" model, so called because the company placed an order of the shorter revolvers for their stagecoach drivers. The frame is very finely blued with no scratches, while the trigger guard, hammer, front sight, and latch mechanism are color case hardened. Grips are a rich walnut.
The revolver is loaded through a top break mechanism, and automatically ejects all cartriges from the cylander on opening (although this ejector can be disabled with a small lever on the underside of the frame if only a partial reload is desired).
This firearm has only been fired less than 50 times with light cowboy load ammunition, so minimal wear should be present in the cylinder and latch mechanism. Allen brand pistol rug is included.
Asking for $800 in sale price, or trading for select models of Remington 700s. Prefered chambering is .300WM, although open to other offers.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or offers.
