Item Description: Savage 10P, 18" 5R threaded bbl 1:10 twist rate, Savage ACCUTRIGGER with JP Enterprises compensator, lugs have been lapped and barrel headspaced to fit. Comes with Boyds Tactical CAMO Laminate stock that has been channeled to fit the barrel and microfit adjusted to the action. Also comes with the original factory stock that has been Camo painted, weighted and balanced to reduce recoil. There is virtually noticable RECOIL with either of the stocks.
The scope is a Primary Arms 4 x 14 x 42 FFP, MIL Dot scope with Butler Creek scope caps and anti-cant leveler. It is sitting in Burris 30mm Signature Zee rings. Rings are sitting on a
KEN Farrel G-Force 20 MOA rail with front lug. Will also come with the original
Savage 10P 308 magazine and a DARK EAGLE 10 RD extended tactical magazine.
This rifle will reach out and touch! Less than 1/2 MOA shooter out to 800 yards (the furthest I have tried to shoot). Action has approximately 180 rds downrange, and loves Hornady 165 gr SST for hunting. I have taken 3 deer at 400-600 yds and several hogs between 100 and 400 yds. Federal 168 grain match is the round I use for target.
If you have a suppressor, I also have some LAPUA 200 gr FMJBT SUBSONIC I can throw in, took 2 hogs, 3 deer and 2 coyotes with this round at approx 150-200 yds, and they didn't know what hit them, BANG FLOP!
