I have not shot either one. I’m listing them for a friend. You can shoot modern shells as long as they’re light loads.

A weak point in a sxs is often the condition of the bores. Pitted bores can lead to a very entertaining situation. If one is inexperienced, a gunsmith specializing in this type of gun should inspect it. Lengthening the chamber and milling a long forcing cone will reduce recoil and contribute to a longer life.
