Item Description: So here's the story on this nice Colt Delta Elite, 1992 manufacture.

So during the start of the COVID-19 panic a little old lady (my assistant's mother in law) decides she needs a gun, just in case. She's elderly and might weigh 85 pounds after a big meal and a shower. She goes to a gun/outdoors store in Athens and they sell her this. Of all the freaking guns in the place, they sell her a $1000.00 hand cannon, that she can't even get her hands around. And to top it off, they charged her $180 for a taped up box of "ammo" that turned out to be about 100 rounds of cheap ball 10mm and a bunch of mixed fired brass. See the pictures below. Yep - that is exactly as it came.

My assistant tells me this story, and they try to take it back to get something more appropriate. She is offered other overpriced guns and store credit that she has absolutely no use for. So i decided to try and help out and buy this thing from her and get some (hopefully most) of her money back and/or something she can actually handle like a S&W Shield EZ (and some lessons at the local range).

So like I said, Colt Delta Elite. Good shape, but does show some wear. Looks like a typical take it out of the safe now and again and shoot it on Thanksgiving with the family gun. Unfortunately, no box or docs.

Take her to someplace like Bullseye and let her shoot your guns or rental guns. She sounds pretty frail. Start with a .22. If she has arthritis, then a handgun may not be appropriate. Find out what she can shoot with confidence.

I will help her if you like. Shotguns win every time.

Luckily she's not frail, but she's no spring chicken and she's tiny! I've got a friend who owns a range in Flowery Branch and she teaches classes. Going to sign her up there. Thanks for the offer!!
