Item Description: 1964 Iver Johnson Cadet, Model 55-SA .38 cal. 2 1/2 " bbl. To my knowledge and according to a very knowledgeable gunsmith, this revolver has never been fired. It belonged to my deceased Father-in-Law who purchased it brand new. It was put in a night table drawer where it remained until he passed away. My Mother-in-Law gave it to me and I have had it in the safe for the past 39 years. I has always been cleaned regularly and stored properly. It bears no scratches or any marks of any kind. This was not an expensive handgun at all, but if your into collecting guns, this would sure make a nice one. BTW, this was the exact model used to assassinate Robert Kennedy by Sirhan Sirhan in 1968 in Los Angeles California.
