Item Description: Browning Hi Power silver chrome
Browning calls this variation silver chrome which is a low luster chrome finish. this gun was manufactured in 1982 and came from the factory with Pachmayr grips, the slide stop, safety, magazine release, grip screws, adjustable rear sight and hammer are a black/blue finish and the trigger is gold which is a nice accent to the chrome.
I replaced the Pachmayr with the wood grips pictured, but it also comes with the originals.
Now for the bad, there are a few blemishes the worse being a deep pit at the right front of the slide with a few tiny pits behind it as pictured. The front strap has a couple of dark spots on it and you may find a light scratch or two, but overall most of the finish is still nice, just check out the pics. it also comes with a factory Browning case, but it looks like it was made for a larger gun and one new Mec-Gar 15 round mag and one 13 rounder. I fired 50 flawless rounds through the gun 14 years ago, cleaned it and put it away. if you check out the same gun on Gun Broker completed auctions(Hi Power silver chrome) you will see pristine specimens that sold for 1300 to 1600 so this is a shooter grade pistol, but still very nice.
