Item Description: I have had my fun with this car and now its time for someone else to enjoy it.
2007 Mini Cooper S, 1.6L Turbo, 6 speed manual, 146,500 miles, many upgrades.
I bought it from a member here 2ish years ago and put 12 to 15K miles on it. Runs great, handles great, fun as heck to drive and gets 32 MPG or a bit better on the highway. In Sport mode its like an over sized go cart. Very fun. I'm simply buying a newer truck and consolidating back to one vehicle. This one has no issues and upgrades include:
all professionally done by a reputable shop the previous owner used(I called and spoke with them)
new timing chain at 120K or there abouts, head rebuilt at this time
dual catch cans
turbo blanket
I did the following-I own a repair shop and have for the last 24 years
new water pump
new coolant crossover pipe
new oil pump-piece of timing chain guide got into it so I changed it as a precaution
2 issues with car
1 sunroof sticks and has to be gently pushed to fully close-I never used it
2-analog speedo stopped working, but the digital speedo in the tach pod works
Tires are 75% at worst, I used it to drive back and forth to work and occasionally to golf on weekends, mostly drove my truck on weekends.
Nice dependable Mini S with tons of miles left in it.
