Shipped in April 1945, this Springfield M1 has some nice metal on it. This one would be a good one to drop in a new stock set and make a great shooter since the metal is so nice. CMP’s Rack Grade includes rust and pitting and this one doesn’t have either. The bolt heat number are in the same time period as the receiver but the other parts are earlier and later. Most if not all parts appear to be Springfield. The stock that was on it was beat up pretty good so I put another one I had on it that is in much better shape and matches color a lot better but the other stock is included. The end of the barrel is stamped Blue Sky imports but if you ever drop in a new barrel that’ll be gone. This one has been with the same family for many years. Pictures show the beat stock and the nicer stock, both included. Meet near me in West Cobb due to my wife’s health, and no trades please.
