Is This a King Snake

Is this a king snake, if not what kind is it?View attachment 3225505

Eastern King. Constrictor. Very good for keeping rats, mice, and squirrels under control. I watched a 5 footer in captivity swallow a dead 36" water moccasin. The King died about 24 hours later. I saw a 6 footer sunning himself under the boardwalk to my dock at Lake Lanier. Gave me a start!

Yup, having my a/c replaced years ago and contractor said you must have rodent problems (we did) as he found a nice sized king snake in the a/c area. Leave them alone.

I’ve only seen them when there’s an infestation of rattlers near. Just saying

I had a few copperheads in the back but when the king snake showed up, they disappeared. I saw the king a couple of more times year before last. I wish it was still around.
