I have had one in our office for 3 years and have no problems out of it. Pic and sound are both good. Beat paying 2x the price for a name brand.

If the savings were significant, I'd say go for it, but you're talking peanuts. Fry's has a 42" with 4 pairs 3D glasses for $499 - An LG. I can't vouch for Insignia being a "a rebranded LG" but the difference in picture quality is readily apparent. You can buy it cheap or you can buy it once.

There are better deals for a 42-46" TV than an Insignia for $450. Costco and Brandsmart are the best places to get TVs, apart from reputable online sources from my experience, and I have bought A LOT of TVs over the years.
