India bans rice exports

Like everything else, the price for rice will shoot up. Why? Because why not? They’ll blame it on this even though it’s produced and provided domestically.

It’s supply and demand. You know,a FREE market. India cuts off their supply and demand will go up for domestic rice abroad.

It's good. But don't get me wrong. Without the rice I don't do boiled okra. In fact the only other way I east it is fried.

The one and only way I can do okra is battered/breaded fresh out of the fry-o-later...

My wife LOVES Texas Pete. It's okay but I dig Tobasco and Frank's if necessary. She hates Tobasco and I don't know why.
But yeah gumbo is awesome. Hell I put okra in vegetable soup. Oh yeah... there's a black label Texas Pete called Texas Pete Hotter Hot Sauce that's damn good.

I leave okra out of vegetable soup because it gooeys up the left overs. No leftovers with gumbo.

Russia shutting down the Black Sea for Ukrainian wheat exports is probably at the root of the Indian rice export ban. That’s going to cause a lot of “supply chain” issues around the world.

We have a good bit stashed in moisture proof packaging. Even if society goes to **** I will NOT go without my red beans and rice...or black beans and rice,or chicken and rice or boiled okra and rice ...

Have you tried rice…..on weed?
