I'm pissed enough that I don't know what to title this thread

They are creatures of habit. He may come back eventually. Get in there, sit down and let him come trolling back through. He was probably squirrel hunting as well.
There was 3 of them. I saw the first one and I was a little dumbfounded because I was absolutely not expecting to see a yote. I was expecting to see a deer. Then I see a second one, I guess maybe I got "buck fever" or maybe "yote fever". I get my gun up (left handed shot), safety off and finger on the trigger but I thought to myself, "it is legal?". So I just didn't pull the trigger. Now that I realize it was legal, I'm pissed because it was a very nice yote.
 
You'll remember this a long time.
Its been years but I still remember passing on a huge doe that was an easy shot because "its early"....the buck I was after got downwind of me and that was that.....
 
You did the right thing. If you don't know - don't shoot. That is what they call self control.
Your hunting partner smoked one so all ok to me.
