This should not have failed

That or the 400 Corbon which might be easier to find a barrel for.

Both are made by Starline so finding brass shouldn't be hard.

It'd be cool to convert a compact 1911 into one of those cartridges, but if it's in a full size I'll stick with my 10mm auto.

The .40 super will be extremely hard to find ammo for and no one makes reloading dies for it. Brass wouldn't be too hard to come by, it can be made out of .45 Winchester brass and im pretty sure you can use .45lc brass as well.

Here ya go, http://www.midwayusa.com/find?sortby=1&itemsperpage=24&newcategorydimensionid=12705

Reloading would be the only way to go for any these cartridges. If you truly like the round then make the small investment and start reloading. I know I'll never part with my S&W 1066, heck it's my main ccw. I load it with 135gr Nosler's, 180 Hornday HAP, & just picked up some Barnes 155gr for some hunting loads. The idea of paying top dollar for full power 10mm loads is crazy when loading them yourself is so easy & much cheaper.
