If you can do it your self about 60 bucks. Not sure what a shop would charge. It's been sitting in the garage as the wife upgraded.

I did but it needs ball joints and some other stuff. I can't afford to fix it after I buy it

Oh I can understand that. Look on CL Atlanta for a pre 97 Escort witha 5 speed if possible,any year Sentra,any year Tercel, first gen Kia Sportage any Festiva but the automatic models actually do better in them for some reason Geo Metro if it's the later body style and the 4 cylinder does better then the three.Cavaliers and Sunfires are okay if you stay away from the DOHC models. I think they're the Quad 4 engines.

Stay away from Mitsubishi and VW unless you can find a TDI which I don't think you will in that price range .
