A friend of mine forgot last year and it was the only day Mr. Green jeans checked us.
He was waiting near our vehicle when we walked out of a WMA.
The guy was the nicest ranger on the planet and let my buddy go with a very mild verbal warning...like “Yeah it happens just go ahead and renew it tonight so you don’t have any problems with anyone else.”

I downloaded the app and opted for the nice reminder to warn me before it expires. Highly recommended. Super easy game check process aswell

I don't hunt, but this happened to me fishing a few years ago. I used to buy 1 on my birthday because it expired on your birthday. I forgot that year, but the warden looked it up and saw I had held a license for the past couple decades. He gave me a verbal and said get one asap.

You can input your cc# and set it to auto renew. Never expires now.
