HVAC advice

So my thermostat is giving me a E3 code and a quick google search says it’s an outside temp sensor issue. Anyone know where to start looking for this temp sensor?

Likely mounted to the side of your outside unit. Have heard of them being under eave mounted though. Should only really matter in winter iirc.

Here's one fpr a Carrier but yours is likely similar.
