Still are making them, if my memory is right. No plans to update the $2 bill though.

I guess those will never be worth more than face value in the next few generations. They made too many of them

Most people don't make enough money to pay the taxes you have too. Hard to hide that much money......Besides it's not what you make, it's what you do with it

How long till the government changes the color of money so they can collect taxes on everyone's cash stash. I think government has to do that before it makes us go to all plastic?

Reminds me of an old episode of MASH where the gov't was exchanging script and Winchester I think had a scheme to make bank but missed the deadline.

Na, only because last year there was inheritance that the IRS claimed as "income", which is why it was the "best year".

But I appreciate the positive motivation.

My "best year" was the year I retired.

What year was it?

I don't remember but they wouldn't take it. Probably 1980s. I guess they want newish bills for the added difficulty of counterfeiting. The only bill I ever kept for being old is very old. Maybe a 1940s dollar bill I got in change at some point. I need to look at that one.
