Before I retired in December, someone libby brought in fruitcake donuts.
To be kind, I choked about half of it down.
It might be awhile before I can look at another cake donut of any kind...

Wait til they get stale then fry them in butter

YES. Or a chocolate glazed donut. Either one is my spirit animal.
My spirit animal is fat.
Apple fritter. Sweet and chunky.
Hot, with vanilla ice cream on top....
Chocolate covered but custard filled vs the crème filled is my weakness.
