I don't know if anybody else does this, but when I look at my monthly water bill it scares the S#$% out of me! I used to just look at the dollar amount, but recently I thought about what would happen if there wasn't public water readily available, and it would be a harsh dose of reality. It really makes me think about installing a hand pump well out on my dad's land just in case.
