Ocmulgee WMA and Oaky woods WMA are both in Houston county. Anywhere you can go close to the Ocmulgee river. Oaky woods is eat up with Hogs you just need to hook up with someone familiar with the area.

You can also hunt on base. They have a short class that you have to take where they cover gun safety and show you the areas open to hunting

You can also talk to the Park Rangers and they will point you in the right direction for where they have seen most of the hog activity.

Bankhead National Forest in Alabama is open for hogs all year.

All WMA allow the taking of hogs during any hunting season providing you are following the restrictions for that season (gun and caliber). During the summer you are left to private hunting only for hogs. Hogs are good to the south and south east of Atlanta anywere there are lowlands and food.
