You know how the anti-gunner liberals say that if you carry a gun, the bad guy will take it away from you and use it on you?
That's what the bear tried to do.
But when the bear fired the HI-Point at the man, it went "KA-BOOM" and the back half of the zinc alloy broke off and came through the bear's eye socket.

You would think that living out there that dude would have had a .500 magnum with a 7-3/4" barrel and 440 grain corbon hard casts ready to go.

Not everyone in Alaska has $1200 to drop on a pistol....talk all the smack you want. The guy was armed and protected his family. If a HiPoint is what you can afford, rock it.
