If you are interested in an M1 garand you should plan on a drive over to Anniston, AL to the Civilian Marksmanship Program.

Some hoops to jump though but worth it for the lowest priced garand you will find.

They may have some 1917s but I think they are overpriced. The store sometimes has 1903A3s.
